Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Spottr collects, how it is used, when it is shared, and what controls are available to you.

Information you provide

Spottr stores information you enter directly, including email address, username, display name, profile photo, bio, workout logs, body progress entries, posts, comments, saved items, uploaded images, account preferences, and support requests.

Workout, progress, and fitness data

Spottr stores workout titles, exercises, sets, reps, weight, distance, duration, notes, routine data, progress history, personal records, recovery context, body progress entries, and related analytics so the app can provide training history and progress tools.

Messages and user content

Spottr stores direct message text, shared-post payloads, posts, captions, comments, replies, profile text, and uploaded images so social and messaging features work across devices. Messages are private between participants by default, but may be accessed or retained when reasonably necessary for safety review, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, support, or legal compliance.

Images and media

Spottr supports images for launch features such as profile images, post images, body progress photos, and custom exercise images. Video upload is not part of the launch scope. Uploaded media may be processed, resized, compressed, stored, and delivered through Spottr's storage and media infrastructure.

Technical, analytics, and diagnostic data

Spottr may store technical information needed to operate the service, such as device platform, push notification tokens, app preferences, authentication events, subscription or purchase state, crash diagnostics, performance diagnostics, and product analytics events. Spottr uses service providers including Supabase, RevenueCat, Sentry, PostHog, Expo Push, and Cloudflare infrastructure to provide these services.

How we use information

Your information is used to provide account access, workout history, progress analytics, body tracking, social features, messaging, safety workflows, notifications, subscription management, support, reliability, debugging, and abuse prevention.

Visibility and sharing

What other users can see depends on your privacy settings, follower relationships, and your own sharing decisions. Public accounts can be viewed broadly. Private accounts limit profile and content visibility to the account owner and approved followers. Blocking and moderation actions may also restrict visibility.

Retention and deletion

Spottr keeps data for as long as needed to operate the product, maintain records, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Deleting your account removes core account data and associated content, subject to limited retention for fraud, safety, payment, or legal reasons.
